Robert D. Kornegay, Jr.

Bob Kornegay is a lifetime native of Rocky Mount, NC. “Bob” attended Wake Forest University, received his B.A. in 1970, his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Louisville in 1973, and was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1973. He served as a Research Assistant to Justice I Beverly Lake, North Carolina Supreme Court, 1973-1974. He has also published articles and been a speaker at Continuing Legal Education seminars.

Bob is an NCDRC Certified Mediator for Superior Court and Family Financial matters and matters before the Clerk of Superior Court in Guardianships and Estates. He is a member of the Nash-Edgecombe, North Carolina Bar Associations, Seventh Judicial District, and the North Carolina State Bars.

Ocracoke Island, NC, has been Bob’s second home for 25 years, and he offers legal services to Ocracoke Island and Hyde County residents.
